World Food Sovereignty Project (WFSP) exists to transform — how we as human beings — look at and approach the production, distribution and consumption of food.
It’s ultimate goal is to illustrate that our universal need for food, can be removed from our out-dated, global Monetary / Market Economic System for the ultimate benefit of ALL people.
With that said, it should be clearly noted here, that the WFSP is NOT an “NGO”. It’s not even even remotely similar to the concepts and approaches of traditional NGOs. Meaning, the WFSP empirically understands that the approach of:
defining “poverty” — designing programs aimed at “the poor” — scattering “solutions” all around in a patchwork pattern (while seeking out the “poor”)…
…is nothing short of a mindset and approach that simply perpetuates the actual causes of fiscal poverty as well as poverty consciousness. Also, it’s indicative of an utterly FALSE understanding of today’s emerging socioeconomic circumstances.
Reshaping Humanity — Contrary to the common belief that says the mounting issues we face can be solved by throwing money around via bailouts, donations or “investments”, or… that we can help “the poor” via low cost loans, the WFSP exists to share “Bigger Truths” and communicate information that shows beyond a shadow of a doubt, how and why this is fundamentally flawed.
Sharing + Communicating — Just one of these “Bigger Truths” is the FACT that our food production and distribution processes are deeply rooted, completely intertwined and dependent upon our GLOBAL economic system and NOT a separate issue. And therefore, it can be shown that it is the global “Monetary / Market Economic System” that is at the heart of not only our food issues, but virtually all of the problems we face today.
Catalyst for Transition — Through humanity’s need to produce and consume food the WFSP seeks to serve as a catalyst in a global transition process. This “transition” will bring us out from under this unsustainable “Everybody For Themselves Culture”, into a state of simply being. A state of being that serves the “Highest Good For ALL. A state of being that exhibits a humanity — NOT a “society — focusing its creativity and energy on intelligent resource management & distribution rather than Money & Markets.
